Shaping Experiences
Through Art

At Kerten Hospitality, art is not decoration. It is how our spaces speak. Every property becomes a canvas for local creativity, cultural dialogue and unforgettable encounters

OUR ARTISTIC IDENTITY

Art is a differentiator across every one of our brands. A living commitment to heritage, community and modern expression.

Our artistic identity is built on three pillars that guide how we commission, curate, and integrate art into the guest experience. Together, they ensure every artwork tells a story that belongs to its place.

01

Local

Rooted in each destination and its creative ecosystem. We partner with local artists, artisans, and cultural institutions to ensure our art reflects the soul of its surroundings. Never imported, always authentic.

02

Contemporary

Supporting today's artistic voices and modern aesthetics. From AI-generated interpretations of ancient geology to multimedia installations, we champion the artists who are shaping culture right now.

03

Connected

Linking our properties, partners, and communities through culture. Art becomes the thread that ties a global hospitality portfolio to the intimate, human stories of every destination.

DAR TANTORA THE HOUSE HOTEL . SAUDI ARABIA

Heritage revival and contemporary art fusion

At Dar Tantora, The House Hotel, original 12th-century wall murals were painstakingly restored with archaeological support and pigment research from Al-Dirah Art School, then placed in dialogue with contemporary works, including AI-generated pieces by Gregory Chatonsky interpreting AlUla's ancient geology.

Students from Madrasat Addeera contributed local crafts, positioning Dar Tantora as a "living museum" where heritage and modernity exist in a single breath.

Six Saudi artists transformed Cloud 7 Residence AlUla into an open-air gallery, creating the permanent "Blooming Murals" exhibition inspired by AlUla's flora, fauna, and traditional weaving patterns. The initiative built a self-sufficient art ecosystem, linking artists, artisans, and small businesses.

Today, these murals serve as community anchors and some of the most shared destinations on social media across the region.

CLOUD 7 HOTEL ROMA . ITALY

Under the curatorship of Agnese Landolfo and in collaboration with Genius Loci Architettura, Cloud 7 Roma commissioned 100% site-specific art. Every piece was conceived for and embedded into its architectural context.

Four emerging Roman artists anchor the collection: from Alessandro Calizza's mythological 3D entry piece and Federico Russo's aquatic engravings, to Giovanni LoCastro's multimedia installations and Ilic Arnone's hand-embroidered nostalgic works. Corridor frescoes by students of the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome complete the experience.

In Aqaba, Kerten Hospitality works alongside The Box art gallery to connect guests with curated exhibitions, local artists, and cultural programming that extends the art experience beyond hotel walls.

Cloud 7 Residence Ayla became an arts hub through a mural competition overseen by Rana Beiruti, Amman Design Week Director, that spotlighted local talent. The winning mural by Rawan Imleh became one of the most photographed landmarks in the destination.

THE NEXT CHAPTER

Kerten Hospitality is evolving from being a container of art to becoming an active cultural producer. Shaping the narratives, not just hosting them.

Working with an internationally recognized art curator, we are defining a narrative thread for each property. A coherent storytelling framework that reflects our cultural mission: local, contemporary, connected. Through curated experiences, institutional partnerships, and bold programming, our properties will attract cultural audiences, art institutions, and experiential travelers seeking something beyond the ordinary.

HOW YOU'LL EXPERIENCE IT

Four distinct ways art comes alive across Kerten Hospitality properties, designed for guests who travel with curiosity.

Art
Residencies

Local and international artists are invited to stay at our properties, create site-specific works, and open their process to guests through workshops, talks, and studio visits. Each residency leaves a permanent mark on the property.

Immersive
Guest Experiences

Art packages that include curator-led property tours, hands-on workshops, visits to local artists' studios, and temporary or permanent interactive installations. Art becomes something you do, not just something you see.

Community
Engagement

Collaborations with young curators, site-specific exhibitions, and "cultural keys" that unlock the local art scene for guests. We're creating a Kerten Hospitality art guide, a living document connecting travelers to the creative pulse of every destination.

Art Programming
& Events

An annual "Kerten Hospitality Show" anchors the calendar with performances, installations, and talks that position our properties as cultural destinations. Seasonal programming ensures art is never static, always evolving.
